Door dipping

Hi all,
I'm trying to find somewhere, anywhere between Dublin and Kerry that dips/strips doors at a reasonable price.

Kev's doing a job in Kerry but is home in Dublin every other weekend so can drop them pretty much anywhere.

Problem is that the only place i found wants €65 per door(6doors).
Kev(being english and having worked there for years) reckons it'd only cost £20 each there.

Any ideas??

Hi Mide............ try this guy he's based in Dun Laoghaire, haven't used him myself but have heard he's very good, no idea of his rates.

Mide, there's a guy called Joe Stone (dunno if that's his real surname cos he deals in reclamation items so could be Joe The Stone either ) on the edge of the Curragh (about 5 mins from M7) who, among other things, does a bit of stripping (the door kind). I'll see if I can get a number for him

There's a place near the ""Skew Bridge"
on the Lower Glanmire Road, Cork does them.


Dip = €50
Dip and sand = €110
Dip, sand and wax coat = €150
All incl vat.

Apparently very good as they pick the paint from out of any mouldings etc.

Well tell him to go out & buy a big tin of Nitromors & a scraper so
