Looking to nip over to the hexagon on a ferry next month and was shopping around

Irish Ferries currently coming up the cheapest.

I've never used them. Are they cheap for a (bad) reason or are they just the same as P&O/DFDS?

Also, if someone knows a code that could save me some money (I've no idea where people get these from :nenau ) then I'm not going to be upset if someone shares one with me :beerjug:

Suppose I've got to figure out all the App stuff and proving I've been jabbed I've not crossed a border since all of that came into force. At least I don't have to do a test before travelling now. That's something.

Used Irish Ferries Dover Calais. It’s fine. Food miles better than P&O and DFDS.

they have no dates after the end of April so will they quit the Dover-Calais service in May?

they don't seem that cheap, £40 one way compared to the tunnel and there is only a ferry every 2 hours, so a PITA compared to the flexibility of "rock up when you feel like it and get on the next train probably in half an hour"
