They aren't all bulky....and they squash up far smaller than a synthetic fill jacket of similar capability.

I know the op jumps around near the Arctic Circle, but my Canada Goose parka has served me well. It’s over 10 years old and still going strong. I seldom need anymore than a t shirt underneath for anything the UK throws at me. Think I paid over £600 for the fucker, but don’t grudge cause it’s lasted well.
