I met of with four of the guys from the TRF Essex Group in Braintree on Sunday.
Much interest (and some sceptisism) in the SE and its ability to cope with the mud in the Essex lanes.
Two of the guys were on KTM 250 smokers.
The guy leading us did a great job. I was behind him. We hit the first lane and he takes off, so i go for it hanging on to his tail, when we got to the end of the lane he turned round and nearly fell of his bike when he realised I was right next to him!
the second guy on the other KTM arrived 30 seconds behind me, takes off his helmet and say's fxxk me thats quick. Couldn't believe I wasnt wallowing in the mud.
I so love the SE, it handled the thick clay and mud with no problem. Maybe i will sell the 520 after all!
I had the GPS tracking on so should be able to replay the route.
