down pipes y peices n stubbies etc

today i popped over to see a relatively new member of this parish who goes by the name of Pipey

now pipey dabbles in all things to do with zorsts the reason for my visit was to pick up a stubbie

and very nice it is to

then talking to him i find out he is making Y-peices for the 1150 and will make them so that you dont have to stick with the same ole boring remus you can find the slip on of your choice

again nice work

and he also does headers and a y-peice for the 1200s as well
again very nice work

he also does a 850/1100 cat replacement pipe as well and will soon be sorting a stubbie for the 1200s,,and can do custom set up as well

i feel somebody with a talent like this needs to be known about

All looks good, but he would probably do better posting prices.

He should also look into the stubby for the 1200 before starting work because as far as I'm aware the stubby won't work on the 12 because it will be far too noisy.

as for the 12s stubby he is well aware of the noise issue and says he is looking into a solution

just to pick up on a couple of points, the 1150 down pipes are difficult to make because of the odd shape flange that bolts to the head, but never say never. im hoping in the new year to make a short stubby/silencer that will get around the noise problem that a pipe only stubby creates on the 1200, watch this space.
must get back to eating and drinking to much,got to get rid of this 30" waist
so i can buy some clothing out of the for sale section

Tell Pipey to stop wasting his time on the plastic fantastic parts (1200's to most folk) most won't be on the road long enough to make the most of those nice pipes he makes and start making kit for the airheads

I did hear that 95% of the 1200's ever made were still on the road....the other 5% actually made it home

Pipey, will the 1200 stubby NEED the cat to help with the silencing of the thing, or will the stubby do the job? Just thinking about the full kit: pipes, Y pipe and stubby...Ta! Lyn.
