downloading

trying to download a demo version of microsoft office 2007.
says it downloaded and it happily emails a key code to use but nothing appears in the download box?? any ideas?

Are you using the Microsoft downloader? Its pants and I rarely get a download out of it. Either use the alternative download link if there is one or use google Chrome which bypasses the downloader and gets it directly. Other options are your virus checker ether on the firewall or local machine is eating the download so check your quarantine.

ok thanks. will have a look at google chrome. as all previous downloads have been ok? so I don't think it is the firewall stuff?

Yep, Microsft downloader sucks. Used it in my last job and spent 20 minutes 'chat' with their technical guy getting all of the settings right. Took much longer to get to that stage and convinve them it wasn't working!
