Dragon

Hi all, no, never done the dragon but many times to the BMW club's rhino rally at bedgelet north wales this is at about the same time in snowdonia national park area and always gets Very chilly. One year we had 15 degrees of frost everything frozen milk, tent like stiff cardboard good laugh tghough brekie down the road in pub or cafe. Went to the elephant in 1968 and that was bloody cold!, we'd been training for weeks and I was worried the bar would close before midnight, I walked out to have a pee at 8.30pm and passed out in the snow!! and it was 18 below in the day time, like Stalingrad
without the war! (only pissed not ill), still was dragged back into the bar and carried on!. All of europe seemed to be there and since then I belive if the whole world rode bikes and had an annual piss up wars would be a thing of the past!. Wentr in 1969 but bike broke down in belgium ( vincent s/car out fit and it is cold!. Whats catering like at the Dragon? anything available?.

Dragon

Are we going? I mean the fine group (or some of them) that helped Paul demolish the large amount of booze he got lumbered with at Shoreham
if so let me know how much and where to send the dosh. Any booze supplied here? (hic).
Dave (In need of a good dose of alchohol on a cold site) GS

Raving!!

Well I must be, just got a pm, from our man about the dragon (thanks Paul)and then just seen this!! so just been done the post box (10.20pm!) posted off my ticket request! as I thought you might need help with alchohol disposal!! (or re-cucling!). This wa going when I first started taking the "Motor Cycle" magazine whilst still at school! but never been hopfully next year will be a first!. I hear it's a bit muddy some years so wellies might be a good idea and it is in wales (sheep country) so might be useful!.
Dave (raving) GS.

splendid

We can ride up in formation.
This event sorts the men from the boys.....Mind you if its chucking down with snow i'm staying home..:hide.
Or we could hire a large van, put the bikes in and park it round the back, unload and ride in. he he.

Most of the Queen Vic regulars will be attending as normal and -8 is normally the average tempreture.
Make sure your tent can stand up to high winds and a big bottle to piss in cuz you wont want to get out your bed in the night.
Friday night in Betswy is always a good way to start and get the alchohol levels topped up.
We will see you there.
It should be a cracking do this year as its the 50th.
Bring your thermals!!

Dragon!!!!!

Yes !!!!!!!!,. it is arranged I'll be there to l;ower the standards of our little group! (take some doing but I'll have a go!). Ticket arrived I wil sort out a kent invicta flag to keep it flying at the doo. Great news should be a real laugh if it's half as good as Shorham it will be brilliant!. I'll start drinking training toady!.
Dave ( The Rave!) GS.

Have a look on the RS components site. they'll have something simimilar.

Friday night in Betswy is always a good way to start and get the alchohol levels topped up.

Also staying locally on the Friday night is good as you can get there earlier on the Saturday...... the rally tends to get busy very early & arriving as soon as you can on the Saturday is definitely to be advised.

Catering is minimal at the rally (i.e. take it or leave it; we're the only van so you'll have to pay our prices) so come suitably prepared.....
