Draining Fuel Tank

I've got to ship my bike by truck and they are demanding an (almost) empty fuel tank. Unfortunately the tank is almost full. What's the best way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Thought about riding it but the roads are icy. I bought a cheap syphon but it was crap and failed to work. Perhaps I'll try to get a better one.

Tell them it is empty............what are they going to do to prove otherwise??

Does it run?
If so, connect a quick-lock pipe to the fuel pump on the right hand side of the tank behind the side panel and start the engine. the pump will just pump the fuel out for you.
Available from Nippy Norman and delivery is almost just before you thought about ordering it.

You can syphon most out and its dead easy and only takes a few minutes to remove the tank and invert it.
