I have a new toy, I will stick one of the self adhesive jobbies to a bracket near the beak. I would like to have an option of mounting it on the side of the Arai too, but its already dead noisy.
Is there any option of fitting it like one of those sena autocoms, a clip inside the lid attached to a plat outside, the lower position would also cut down the wind noise.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Do you mean like this?

The ghost should come with mounts suitable for that.

Mine is mounted to my C3 just like the pics above (but without the glue :) )

I'm more worried about function than form! By the way Paul it still picks up a lot of wind noise there to.

And why not :)

You're not wrong about wind noise either, I've turned the mic off on mine.

This video was shot with a Drift HD mounted on the side of a C3... just using the sticky pad, not a shed load of glue! As you can see some of the helmet is in shot. The flip up compromises where you can locate the camera a little.

Paul C, that's a good quality vid and not even the Ghost ? I'd be very happy with that. Good job it's not Youtube or they'd pull the music. Where's the reservoir ?

The video starts at the northern edge of Llyn Aled (south of Llansannan) then onto the A543 east before circling clockwise through more lanes back towards the A5 at Cerrigydrudion.

What music ?? (;-))

Thanks guys, was more on about the noise transmitted to the helmet rather than noise on the video.. I will give it a crack soon

I was concerned about that too. In reality I didn't really notice much difference.

no extra noise in the helmet at all, just a bit of extra weight on that side

Thanks guys, I will give it a go, may even try black tack the mount on top to see if its noisy without the camera.. if thats fine i can put up with the noise for the odd hour or so with it on

Black tacced the goggle mount to the top of my lid and the shots are ok, and it wasn't THAT noisy, so will stick the curvy mount on there soon

Certainly done a good job of your movies. But did you have to convert the file from Drifts MP4 file to something else ?

The drift can record in mp4 or .mov
