Looking for a driver for an Alcatel Speed Touch Home ADSL Modem.

It is not a USB modem it is a proper cable to PC modem. Can't seem to find one. I am helping a friend change over to a new PC

Any good places, google is not finding what I need it only finds USB modems...

if it's ethernet, why would it need a driver?

you configure the modem via web browser and that's it. isn't it?

Good question, don't know if I can answer it. In windows XP you load a cd and it installs all that is needed. Then you click an Icon where it asks for login and password and connects. I have tried just plugging it in but it does not work...

acces the modem setup page via a web broser.

you'll need the IP of the modem to enter into the address bar. might be 10.0.0.138

If you do ever want a CD for the modem, I have one to hand (just re-built my PC and found a copy among all the old set-up CD's from 2003).
