Wiring diagram - Driving lights

Mike O
Yes please me too.

e-mail [email protected]

Just fitted a pair of Halfords Ice Blue driving lights wired to come on with main beam - great improvement, but would like another set connected to dip which would switch off when main beam comes on.

Thanks

Mike,

Alternatively you could ask Paul G to host this and add a link on the GS Wisdom & Knowledge.... unless you like all this e-mailing malarkey

What - and kill the only social life I've got? :yelrotflm

Enabb - quite right, I'd forgotten I'd posted it. I think the one I've been Emailing is a larger image and, therefore, a bit clearer.....

I've been looking at the picture of your lights in Enabbs link.

Your dipped lights appear to be mounted under the beak but how are your main beam auxillary lights mounted?

Malcolm,

they're mounted on one of these.....

Mike...do you think these brackets are strong enough to take two pairs of lights, fogs or running lights and a pair of driving spots as well, a pair above and a pair below??

There appears to be enough thread to use, but even if there wasn't, a short piece of threaded SS with a couple of pairs of locking nuts would suffice, but I'm wondering about the strength of the brackets themselves.

Cheers

Being a relative idiot when it comes to electrics and not havng access to a workshop manual, can anyone please e-mail me a wiring diagram for my aux driving lights. Do I need to wire them through the handlebar switch or via the fuse box????

Thanks

I really wish I had paid more attention on my C&G electronics course !
