I popped in to see Harné Huevelman and his dad Harme today at their workshop “Back to Classics” in Holland.

The place is a clean as a dentist’s surgery and dripping with Bevel exotica.

And yes there are three genuine ‘Green Frames’ there, plus one replica for racing (shown with Campag. wheels)

A particular favourite was the little Cucciolo, in for restoration for the original owner.

Some pics for your delectation.

What a place !
It’s cleaner than any museum I’ve ever been in never mind a ‘workshop’
Thanks for posting the pics

What a fantastic selection of beauty on two wheels - and the workshop like an operating theatre. Thanks for posting 👍

The green frame's are lovely but I can't imagine taking one on the road. The Sport hits the spot for me. Closely followed by the Cucciolo!

The 1973 750 Sport is up for sale. It is museum quality and is perfect. These bikes are not cheap.

IMHO, it will give more pleasure looking at it than watching figures on an ISA statement.

Has anyone on here got a '79 900ss? If so, could you please take a picture of how the brake pedal return spring is fitted, because I'm buggered if I can work it out.
I'm over in Europe shortly and having bought parts from b2c I thought I might pop in and ask him. His videos are also very good.

This is the 1976 900SS I'm working on. Have concentrated on the chassis at the moment. The engine requires a rebuild next but suspect I've got a years work based on ££££'s available. Your comments are welcomed and encouraged.
Any chance of a photo on how the spring is fitted to the brake pedal? It's a back view that I need where the spring locates on the frame. It might be different to the '79 model, but it would be appreciated.
The rebuild so far:

Mallard, wife's birthday today so will dig bike out and take a picture tomorrow for you. I live near Newark (6 miles away) might be easier for you to just pop round and have a look. PM me if you want to do that.

Mallard, MIS in Newark has a 1980's MHR 900 in their shop, they will let you have a look at that if it's easier. Tell Carl, Bill sent you over

That's a very kind offer Billd. We are just the other side of Newark near Bingham (10 miles ish). Many happy returns to Mrs Billd (y)

Don't mean to steal this thread but realized I had posted an old picture of my project 1976 900SS so wanted to update it. Dead proud of the seat modification, it's a Mead Speed solo but they use modern plastic zippers so removed a YKK #10 brass zipper from a Barbour coat and had that sewen in also shortened the seat base by 1-1/4" for the Imola tank

Do these help at all? Bike is a 1978/9 black'n'gold - can get more if you need. Or, if you prefer, I'm not far from Matlock Bath and you'd be welcome to call in.
