Dropped 2010 GS off Sidestand

um!!
seems like an ideal time to ask a question not so long ago packed on a bit of a camber with sidestand when i got back on i couldnt get enough leverage or ump when sitting on bike to get it up right and i thought i need longer sidestand so they dont lean over so far ( gs1200 is factory lowered but i,m only another 29" inside leg) any suggestions ???
some sensible ones as well :toungincheek

When you get on the bike, as well as pushing off your left leg put your right foot on the right peg and push down. The extra leverage brings the bike up nicely. :)

I need to kind of poke my right foot through the gap between tank and the luggage

I kept kicking the luggage trying to get on then I watched an episode of Long Way Round and noticed that they got on by kicking foot over front seat. I have done it that way for the last four years now and find it hard to get on any other way.

If it's fully loaded and on the sidestand I either climb on and then get SWMBO to push me upright :ymca or put it onto the centre stand, climb back on and ride off the stand.
