Dual Seat Locking Mechanism

Anybody come up with a better (ie doesn't break) mechanism to operate the seat locks? Have just removed mine to recode the lock and found small cracks in the plastic. Seem to remember having the same problem on my 1100 and having to fork out £60 for a new one?

I ijust bought one recently and nowhere near £60. I think somewhere closer to £40.
Still a rip off cause as you say its a bad system and breaks easily.

I 'll have a phone around next week to price up a new one. The last one I bought was about 7 years ago. I know sometimes stuff gets cheaper.
