We also have seasonal bases high in the San Juan Mtns. of Southwest Colorado and in the Big Bend region of Texas along the Rio Grande River bordering Mexico.

You're not very bright are you?

The pricing was on the page called 'rentals' so not exactly hidden and it is $400 for 5 days not 1 day.

And what the hell does it matter how YOU describe charges? He is in the US and probably followed the local method of descriptive terms.:comfort

Are you being deliberately stupid...? Tell me that you're really not as dim as this, Civil. Please.....:blast

OK Boys, be nice. Out the door rate for a bike is US $131 for 24 hours, this includes liability ins, damage waiver, and taxes.
The 650's are our biggest bikes, you have many more options as far as the trails and routes go if your on a lighter bike than say a big GS.
And I'll even pick ya up at the airport if you come see us, the Knoxville, TN airport that is.

Ride Safe,
Dan

Great area to ride and there are some great trails around there. The Smoky Mtns are just plain beautiful so can throughly recommend the area:thumb

Good luck with it Dan:thumb

You probably wouldn't want a bigger bike in Eastern USA. In the East, trails tend to be very tight and much more wooded. It rains a lot here and the ground is almost always moist and slippy in the woods.

Western US is a bit more open, less vegetation. Picture desert riding, even in COlroado, and you'd not be far off. Trails tend to be dry and very rocky. Again, a 650 might be all the bike you'd want.

GS's are more suited to what we call "fire roads" which can be single or two track trails.

Open for the 2011 riding season. After all the snow and storms we've had most all the good roads and trails are just about open.
For all our friends over the pond we'll pick you up and drop you back off at the Knoxville TN airport when you rent bikes from us, just let us know when your coming, we'll also be happy to help plan out your route through the Smokies.
