I have a four slice version... simply the best toaster there is !!

I have the posh 2 slice version, that’s made in England and fully rebuildable

Had mine 12 years and it's still going strong. Got one of their kettles which is nearly the same age.
 
The Met used the four slice version in its out-of-hours catering units; when they failed (because some ham fisted git used a metal tool) usually with a shorted element, the catering manager would throw them away as it was cheaper to buy another than pay someone to repair it.
I salvaged at least four from the bins over the years, replaced the elements and moved them on to family members or friends. I'm still using one of these I've had for 20+ years.
