Do any of you Ducatistas know if the pink Ducati Eni coolant is compatible with Silkolene Pro Cool coolant? Mine is slightly below min and I want to top it up before riding to my nearest Ducati dealer to get some of their stuff. Silkolene's website claims it is, but my understanding is it's a propylene glycol based coolant, which differs from Ducati's branded stuff which I believe is ethylene glycol based. Not a chemist and not keen to mix if it could cause harm.

Pretty sure you could buy the right spec stuff from your local motor factors shop.

Lots of conflicting info online. Some sources claim that ethylene glycol pink coolants like the VW G12++ stuff is compatible but others state that the Agip stuff ducatis uses is OAT based and shouldn't be mixed with other pink ethylene coolants (some Si-OAT coolants which contain silicates). May just play it safe and get some factory spec coolant. The only other one which seems compatible is Motul Motocool factory line and it's a heck of a lot cheaper.

Yes, was going to buy some but as luck would have it, when popping into RIDERS, they were offering the Ducati stuff at the same price so just bought some of that in the end.
