Ducati Hypermotard

Haven't ridden one, but followed one through traffic in Ipswich a while back - feckin' noisy thing it was (reminded me of Cookie's old 1150 :augie).

Had a go at the launch weekend. Its a great bike but no KTM 950SM you sit on not in it and have to scream the engine, Brakes are phenomenal ,and its a real beauty!! Was looking to get one but will stick with the 950 , the 990Sm doesnt yet do it for me visualy:augie

Had a go. Tasty. Great fun. Put off a bit by the forward riding position- I felt as if I was going to tip over the bars if I braked hard. Lot of money for what it is, though.

Same here ,forward riding position crap,Not a lot off go in it either.

I've got one - it's fantastic. Light, easy to ride and great fun. You quickly get used to the forward riding position.

And I have to disagree with streaky - it's got plenty of go in it, and it goes from 0 to wheelie in milliseconds if that's what you want.

Give it a try - it's a great bike.:bow

nice to look but like most Dukes crap to go any distance on :(

Forward riding position, sat over the bars = proper Supermoto.

Sounds good to me, would love to have a blast on one :thumb2

I don't know if it's got as much go as your GS. but it WILL wheelie off the throttle in second gear.

It is rubbish to go any distance on, but who cares? I have travelled 250 miles on it in a day without any problems - more comfortable and with fewer vibrations than my old 650GS. I don't think I would have it as my only bike, but it is definitely the most fun bike I have ever ridden.

Had a good look around one at the motorshow last month, as my mate is interested in one. You certainly sit well over the front wheel in a supermoto style. The fuel tank was a bit small, which would give a problem trying to go any distance, but that's not what its about.

I'd also be tempted to ditch the standard mirrors (flip out from hand guard) in lieu of the conventional option. I'm sure it'd be wider than the GS in traffic with the standard setup.

Overall a very nice looking bike and I'd love a ride of one.

The mirrors are much too wide when filtering - I have swapped mine for standard Monster mirrors - a much better option.
