I'm very tempted by the carbon D1 motocross / enduro helmet but I can't find any local stockists to try them for size. Now I've measured my head several times and it's 61cm. 
Smack bang between the L and XL
. I've got 2 Shoei lids and they're a L, BUT I have a Caberg flip lid and that's an XL. I'm not sure which size to order. Do I risk buying a L and hope the lining "gives" a bit or do I go for the XL and hope it doesn't get too big? 
Anyone had experience of this make and can give any advice about their sizing? Is their L a generous L or a "small" (compared to say shoei) L. I know people have different shaped melons etc but I'm a bit stuck as which way to go.
Any help would be greatly recieved.
