I'm looking at buying a pair of Daytona boots.. perhaps off the web. I'm interested about how their sizing comes up (some brands come up small/big..)

I'm a size 11.5-12 and comfortably fit an Alpinestars 47.
Any help appreciated..

Cheers :thumb2

Going by my own experience go to a shop and try them on first to get the size right when you get them get your foot to the back of the boot as the long zip is a right barsteward to do up when new for the first few times a little lube i.e baby oil makes it easier.

As John says, go to a HG store, try the boots on that you want and you'll get an exact fit, or near as damn it.

Then try www.bikerland.de for your purchase; I bought my Daytona boots from them 2 years ago and saved myself £70 vs UK retailers.

Daytona Boot Size

I am the same size as you - bought 46 and they were slightly too small. Brilliant boots though you pay the price

Daytona Boots

I normally take an 11 and my 46 Roadstars are just right.

You really need to try them on in a shop to be absolutely sure. Different models may vary slightly.

Cheers all.. looking at getting from bikerland.de if I do.

The ones I want don't appear round where I am, but I might nip to the local HG for a better idea on how something similar is

Speak to Kate at Hideout Leathers, www.hideout-leather.co.uk , very helpfull and usually stocks a large range.
Near Saffron Walden so only an hour or so north of the smoke

Bought my M Star boots here, pays to get a shop fit, my normal size boot wouldn't fit as I know now my top part of my foot is a touch higher, this meant although the boot could just about be squeezed on, the zip couldnt be pulled up, so went one size higher for a perfect fit.
The shop is fairly small but stacked to the gunnels, best phone to check your size is available.:beerjug:

You will need a 46, i am a 11/12 and bought a 47 off the inter web they are a bit big, have to use an in-sole and thick socks. Trans Open GTX.
