It's the DBF's 6th annual Easter Egg Run on Saturday 23rd April, 2011.

Meeting at Scotriders, 74 East Dock Street, Dundee DD1 3LH from 11.30am - leaving SHARP at 1pm.

All we ask is if you could please bring an easter egg and a fiver. Monies raised will be going to Glenlaw House Respite Unit for severaly disabled kids and the eggs will be distributed at Camperdown Park where we are being met by the children from various local charities and good causes. :thumb2

When coming into Scotriders, please pay attention to the Parking Marshalls who will get you lined up all pretty for the photaes and so people can freely walk between the bikes without the dreaded domino effect!

Once yer in and parked, head over to the DM Tyres van for handing over yer eggs and yer dosh which will be collected by M and Wee Geordie.

Alan from the Picnic Basket has again kindly agreed to feed yer faces from the burger van which will be there from opening time. Please use the bins provided for yer junk by the way! :thumb

The Route - naturally it's weather dependant for the route. If it's all good, then we're exiting left out of Scotriders, along Broughty Ferry Road until the Occidental Lights. Turn left at the lights then left again up Strathearn Road. Straight ahead onto Craigie Avenue and turning left at the Arbroath Road junction at the top. At the traffic lights we're turning left down Princess Street/King Street. Seagate roundabout we are turning right going through the tunnel and straight ahead up the Lochee Road, leading to Coupar Angus Road and then into Camperdown Park itself. After a fashion we're off again out of Camperdown, down the Kingsway, off the Kingsway and along Clepington Road, turning right into Kings Cross for Glenlaw House. If the weather's miserable, then we'll be missing out the Broughty Ferry loop.

We are hoping for the usual high turn out of bikes and if we could beat the 252 that came along in 2009 it'd be fantastic.

The Evening Dr Bob, featuring myself on vocals will be half of your evenings rocking entertainment along side the fabulous Independence.
The venue is The Downfield Hotel, Dundee from 7pm. Tickets £5 are on sale now though it may be possible to pay on the door if your there early enough.

Due to the local councils insistance that we have £5,000,000 public liability in place for a group of riders on road legal bikes to travel on a public road in a public park

The Egg Run shall not be stopping at Camperdown Park this year.

Instead we have persuaded the local constabulary to allow us a longer run taking us through the town center and out to Lochee before finishing at Glenlaw House where the children from various local charities and worthy causes will be meeting us.

Done it before(albeit on a blade) and I'll do it again on a GSA. Great cause:thumb2
