I've bought a great one for my camper van (coming in May) but when SWMBO finds out it won't be a question of having a small knob, no knob at all is more likely

Does anybody know if I can obtain a "BR13 ***" plate for a new bike being bought in Hampshire which are HY HV etc?

Or is there a way I can just buy this plate on retention? As far as I know it has not been issued to anyone other than a car or bike franchise dealer at the moment.

my registration came free with the bike - why are you guys paying for yours?

Coz im from essex an iv got a little un lol.
Truth be told, iv never had a personalised plate but i didnt fancy the '13' and when i had a look on DVLA's site there were plenty to choose from at the right money.
Some may say its money you could spend on petrol/accesories etc but when im spending big bucks on the bike another £250 isnt going to break the bank and its still worth something if i want to sell it on.
Oh, and im from the North west, not the sarff east lol

If I had to guess, I would say the number you want is on a list allocated to a dealer and will appear on a vehicle in the future if they sell enough. I doubt there is a mechanism to allow you to buy ANY unused number you fancy - why would there be? Best you can hope for is that the number remains unused and appears later on the DVLA site.
