DWA 6 Alarm problems

Guys got myself a lovely low mileage 1200 GSA 2006 but I'm trying to silence the audio confirmation bleeps & cherps I have the Supplementary riders manual for the alarm & have followed what looks to be the procedure to switch off the bleeps but i'm not having any luck am I missing something ? is there a common fault ?? any help or advice would be very much welcome. I leave home for work at 4.45am & by the time I get the bike out of the garage 1 set of bleeps lock garage & put helmet on 2 sets of bleeps then turn on ignition 3 sets of bleeps I may not live until the weekend !!!!

Think you are, i have had no problems with changing any of the alarm functions.

So I'm the only person who's had any problems with the BMW Aalarm ??
Would a reprograme help.

Make sure you press the buttons long enough when you are going though the sequence, like 2 secs. Cheers, l

Well I've had about 10 attempts at reprograming the damm thing with no luck so poped into Park Lane on the way into work today they also had a play & scratched their heads the conclusion ! They want to plug it in to their laptop & interigate it but did not have time today, so it's booked in for tomorrow I'll let you know how things pan out in my next installment.

Peace at last as stated yesterday BMW Park lane took in bike & then took £29 off me for pluggin in laptop & switching off audiable confirmation, they could not explain why the normal/Keyfob way did not work.!!!!!!! They also changed a fixing bolt on the tank that was a recall that had not been done so I'm a happy Chappy
