DWA

[SHORTLEGS]

Just got this warning on the screen of my 2005 1200 GS :- DWA, showing a half charged battery symbol.

According to other forums the battery in the anti-theft alarm needs replacing soon, have to strip off carrier and other bits off rear to get in at box near rear light. Sounds fiddly but simple enough to do.

Searched on this forum but, suprising, found no references to DWA. Anybody been there & done that?

I had the same problem only a few weeks ago with my 05. Yep the batteries need changing in the alarm system. Fiddly but simple job and it was sorted in under an hour with ease. I started a thread but Im buggered if I can link it to this one. Someone will be along soon who can no doubt.
