As winter is approaching, i will be dragging my old moto-x boots out to ride the GS in.However, they are really badly scuffed, right down to bare leather. As they are just the warmest thing to have on ones feet, anyone know if its possible to buy anything that I can dye/re-colour the boots with. They are a light-ish blue at the mo.
Thanks all.

Martin,
did the very thing with an old Hein G. Maxwell suit which has leather/nubuck trim on scuff areas such as shoulders elbows and backside.

Dirty faded leather now looks better than new.

I used a leather/nubuck dye available from Timpsons shoe repairers.

It is very easy to apply evenly but you need to seal it with a shoe cream from the same range. My suit still has that freshly polished feel and I still have reservations that the dye might run in the rain. To that end I intend applying a leather/nubuck waterproofing spray to seal it all and hopefully that will do the trick.
I think you will get best results on the leather if you dye it with the original colour again.

"Scuff Kote" by Punch...Found an ancient bottle of it in the parents house and use it on the Sidi Couriers... Came up great.. Especially around the very schffed toes.
