For me rubbish had a small off on the Thursday (2nd last day) and broke my wrist had the rest of the day off trying to keep the swelling and pain in check ended up riding a HP2 for the last day after loaning out my WRF450 race bike and my WRF250 spare bike.

I thought they'd stopped running this event? wishful thinking maybe..

It's always been a jinx. i've had 2 attempts at this, and on both occasions i've ended up in A+E for one reason or another....

And whats worse i still didn't manage to get around a whole lap on either occasion...

15 mph in the forestry? does this mean all liason stages are to be done at a snails pace?

Yes there is a average speed limit on the forestry land of 15mph so you don't need to go fast. the only time you really need to go fast is in special test's.

Guys, whats the difficulty of this one? is it enduro type terain or do you think bigger bikes like a dakar will work here?

it's a long lap but pretty much ridable by the big bikes. a lot can depend on the capability of the rider more than the capability of the bike.

sorry you had a bad result i was told you were flying ,look on the bright side at laest you got to ride a real bike ,see you fri sat hope its not your drinking arm mark m
