Dyno test, whats your numbers?

had some Ohlins fitted to the rear last week as i did a track day monday. so while the bike was in the shop, asked them to put it on the dyno to see if i "needed" a power commander....
its a 2006 GSA, with 60k on the clock, accel mod, GPR end can, k&N filter and decat headers...........98hp and 117N.m at the rear wheel

Also pretty pointless comparing from different Dyno's (even from one Dynojet to another as they vary a lot)

Other factors alter readings a bit, even tyres / fuel etc. and the bike op temperature of course, expect at least 5% variation between highest and lowest reading dyno's so one guys 100BHP may be less than another chaps 95 if you were to put them on the same dyno on the same day.

My ZZR gave 166 on a Dynapro (which can measure true RWHP) Vs 174.5 on a Dynojet (that uses software and programmed factors to "work out" how much BHP a bike has)


Still 98BHP is not to be sniffed at
