Post up details of where you had your Dyno runs done and what it cost.

I've just had a quote for a Dyno sesson and Power Commander PCIII setup and got a bit of a shock.....£120! Is this about right or are they thinking beemer rider.....must be loaded (rubbing hands together emoticon)?

Sounds reasonable. To get my ZZR600 Dynojetted and set up cost over £200. I realise it had carbs that needed stripping, but you are paying for their knowledge as well as time.....

Can't comment on Bi-plane setups though. Sorry

That sounds about the right price for setup time. It isn't just a Dyno your paying for, its the knowledge and adjustment and retesting of the bike after each adjustment to optimise your bikes fuelling throughout the full engine range for revs and load.

My last Dyno run was at Double Take in Southampton, checking the adjustments I made to the carbs on my R6 with a Dynojet Kit I installed thanks to John Donnan from Ardglass (RIP).

I had a power run/mixture check and it cost me about £35 IIRC for the check and graphs. Amazing to see your bike doing 155MPH and screaming its lungs off next to you, worth the money for that excitement alone.

EDIT: Beat me to it Miff, I type too slow:)
