insurance..!!! if you dare to stray off the absolute norm, then you have got serious bother it cost me at least £20 to contact them to inform them that my policy details could not be amended.... via their web site.....i later found they have a secret tel number at no cost....but its a secret...go with them i you intend never to change anything otherwise ...enjoy a stressfull day as i just have....

I had exactly the same problem too, took them weeks to sort it out. Whats the secret number then?

E BIKE ARE TO BE AVOIDED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMHIK:blast

Got a quote from the for my wr250f over 7 times any of the others and was lucky enough to work out that it probably would cost me that to ring them up to query it. KEEP CLEAR:eek:

I've paid a lot more for insurance and recieved apaaling service every time and I mean every time so go with the cheapest is my motto and you wont be disapointed:rob

Seen Ebike at work sadly and under the circumstances it was not the result I expected.

Read the cover - you must select the extras fitted but Ebike might only pay out on bringing the bike to standard spec, not declaring can void your insurance.

In my experience they were excellent, paid out after a total loss very quickly, and my premium the next year went up by the staggering amount of about £10.

I've been with them for five years, had a claim and modified bike, never had any problems and they've always been cheaper than others. I have heard horror stories about them but as for my experience, it's all good so far.

I've been with loads of different insurance comapanies and every single one has let me down badly when I needed to claim (and I mean every single one - which includes house insurance and travel insurance).... Its legalised robbery so I go for the cheapest every time to protect me from the law and getting sued.:rob

Difficult to argue with that......:thumb2

I use ebike....I change 'bikes regularly and like the simplicity of doing everything online. I have never had to claim, but there have been a number of times when they have owed me money.....As in, if I go from an 1100cc to a 500cc. The web site tells me how much they owe me, and within a couple of weeks I get a cheque. Always.

So far, it has worked for me. However, like 'Andy T' I don't really trust any of them one bit.....:)

I have to say I use e-bike and found them fine..coughed up what I wanted when I wrote a bike off and didn't get hysterical at next renewal...also easy ..and cheap to add bikes/riders...I'll still phone around next renewal..always the cheapest for me..no such thing as goodwill any more!

I had a big problem with them 2 years ago. Contacted the financial ombudsman and 2 weeks later had full refund and cheque for £75 for my inconvenience direct from e bike.

Sorted.

I can only speak from personal experience,i have been with them several years which have included 1 bike being wrote off(my fault:blast) The payout was hassle free and quick with no rise in the next premium:clap
