E- Workshop/Repair Manuals.

Hi,
Tried a search of this site and google, but no answer, so:-
I am looking for a workshop/repair manual which I can download and run on Apple.
The story so far:-
BMW CD will only run on Windows; I use Apple and do not really want to partition the drive, etc.

Haynes has an e manual, but you have to be connected to the internet to read it! If you go off line so does it. Not down loadable.

Clymer don't answer e mails!!

Others. Not too enthusiastic about pirate copies either. Even with Apple, too many virus issues.

So, just looking for a Kindle type thing, which once bought is always there, even if I lose it, and which I can download and run on my mac air which travels with me.

This is not the rider's manual - I downloaded it easily from the BMW site.

i run a copy BMW of the BMW RepROM thing in windows, on my mac, using VMware Fusion. i have no virus issues.

i've not heard of any other alternative to the RepROM.

Or you could try running windows on your mac using parallels, or some other virtual windows machine within OSX.

Sometimes a virtual windows machine is the only option and it's probably more stable that "real" Windows.

+1 for VMware Fusion for those windows apps you can't avoid - very stable and excellent performance.
