If you need any help. Now camille's all but done I'm kinda twiddling my thumbs.:D

Thats kind of you ...... can you pop over on Sunday to hoover the house for the wife so i can spend more time in garage? :D What I would be interested in is some measurements?

Shock length
wheelbase
swingarm length
swingarm pivot to lower shock mount.

I can then compare with my mock up. Thanks Sycomoto

Can Valentino not afford his own, I will pop down to Silverstone this weekend and get it back for you!

No 165 in the pair of German GS Bikes

that is just about perfection for me , with the addition of a front disk brake
must start and rework my boxer that i used in the 2005 off road challange

no worries mate - there is no hurry. This is going to be a fairly long term project. Still trying to track down parts.

Next job is to make a subframe and mount the seat and tank - footpegs and to chop the frame to pull the head angle in by 2-3 degrees.

Ive got 3 sets in the garage - they are off an 81/82 husky 17.5 inch. If you want some more try the Dirt bike breakers in the states or the vintage husky dealers. Well spotted on the springs theres no gas in them either. They will be fully rebuilt with one piece progressive springs to cope withthe extra weight.

Would it not be better and easier to simply lower or extend backwards, the rear shock top mounts. Got to be much better than messing with the steering head and the drive shaft looks like it could go lower another inch or so at the axel.

You wouldn't happen to have

A pair of 170mm springs about 80newtons for a 200kg bike with a100kg rider. I don't mind what condition as I can get them stripped and coated. Or do you know where I can get some as kais are struggling.

I have used Kais before and frankly not been impressed. Try Robin at falcon shocks he can get whatever you want made.

You lost me .... need to keep the height for ground clearance. Why would moving the shocks backwards help the steering angle. I can understand raising the back.
