Easi-7-advance and iPhone

Has anybody here successfully connected and Easi-7-advance autocom with an iPhone so that you can use the headset mic as appose to the iPhone's during a phone conversation.

I found this thread explaining how to re-wire the normal 4-pole lead, but no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the autocom bluetooth module.

I tried the 4 pole pug also with no joy!

And does the headset mic and everything work with the bluetooth dongle? I assume it doesn't auto-answer?

I use an autocom, albeit a different unit to yours, with a bluetooth dongle and it allows hands-free speech and autoanswers. Don't use the starcom dongle (they are now part of the same company) it does not have bluetooth 2 therefore does not allow music to be played through the system.

Great, thanks guys - I think I'll go for the bluetooth option then.

The Easi was mainly sold as portable system and would not be that suitable for BT use as it would kill the 9v battery. If the Easi is being bike powered the old Part 1276 would be needed which was Retro BT dongle

Yep, mine is bike powered.

So you reckon I should get this instead of this?

What is the difference?
