Although I ride that way quite often, there were some new roads to me with lovely scenery.

Thanks Tufts for getting us all motivated. Really good to see everyone and have a catch up. The off road ride was a little different due to a TRO, but we did find some new lanes as a ride around. There was a lot of water about.

We had been through so much water during the day it had kept us pretty clean. The thought of getting covered in mud on the last lane was vetoed by the team. Those of you know the lane will know it’s a muddy mess at the best of times. Camping wet clothes and muddy kit =

Thanks to everyone for coming and contributing, and those that made extra effort. Colin and Chris for leading rides, and Gerry & Missus Gerry for turning up for a natter Friday evening. Colin K and Karon attending Saturday evening on their way back to France.

But the only person who did the whole weekend properly, was Paul S, turned up on his bike, camped, went home on his bike. All the rest of us used car support or glamper vans. Well done Paul!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the road ride and thankfully there were only a few short stretches that were splattered with tractor mud.

What a GREAT weekend again, thanks Tuffts for making it happen, met some lovely new (to me) guys on the road ride, the highlight of the weekend for me was the stand up comedian we need to get in quick to book him for next year
