Having met the Jundge & a number of you at your Ace Cafe meeting earlier this year, I thought you might be interested in a trip we are doing in July.
We are recruiting at least 2 more riders, and thought some of you guys may be interested.
Cheers

Baron & PaulBDE invite you to Garmisch
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's happening!!!!!!!
An intrepid band of GS'ers will be travelling to the BMW festival in Garmisch on the Germany Austria Border.
The trip will last for 9 days between the 1st & 9th of July.
The aim is to enjoy the sites and experience of biking in Europe on the way down to the festival, have a riot at Garmisch, then do the 600 miles back to Calais over 2 days.
On the way down, we will be staying at the following :-
Brussels - a cultural visit to sample the many fine 8.5% beers the region is famous for!
Nurbergring - a night at the infamous track, and time to explore the many petrol head venues including the famous cafe & museum, oh, and did I mention a blast round the ring itself
Bergof - The heart of the black forest, a good ride out and a chance to experience some of the most talked about roads anywhere!
Garmisch - the BMW festival itself, where we will spend two and a half days. However, don’t think that the black forest to Garmish will be without enjoyment! for our pleasures, we will slip into Switzerland, riding parallel to Lake Constance, and crossing through the tip of Austria into Bavaria land
On the return leg, we will blast up to Metz in France, overnight, leaving a nice ride to Calais the next day.
To be bohemian, we will be making use of campsites, so tents are required!!!!
We have already sorted accommodation on the Sunday night FOC, so that we will only have a short blast to Folkestone on the Monday to catch the Euro Tunnel and start this adventure for real.
For you delectation & review, we have prepared a full itinerary, which also includes a map, route summary, daily mileages and also a trip cost ( including full breakdown- fuel, beer, food, camping & tunnel)
At the moment, we have 4 confirmed riders, and we would be keen to recruit at least 2 more.
If you are interested, then please email me at [email protected], and I will send you the itinerary document.
Baronlebon is on holiday w/c 14th May, but on his return, we will organise a weekend meeting at Rutland water for all riders to discuss the trip, and finalise planning details.
After that we will book the tunnel, and away we go!
At the moment, this trip has been 6 weeks in the planning stages, and we have identified camping sites, costs & requirements, so please be assured, we are definitely going
Prior to departure, we will provide a road book and travel info, as well as a Garmin map for those with Sat Nav's.
We can also assist with recommend travel items, where to get the best deals on kit and pricing if you need stuff.
This is without doubt going to be a very exciting trip!!
I look forward to hearing from interested GS’ers.
7 weeks and counting.......
Regards
