how far from holyhead to leister :nenau

Fastest route takes you past my house.

200 miles / 3.5 hours! :thumb2

A55 M56 M6

My GPS shows a more direct route (through Oswestry, Shrewsbury & Birmingham) but it's near enough identical times for 15 miles less.

If you want to park up in my garage & we can go in my car.

I can meet you on The Wirral if you want.

If you take the M6 Toll.. then onto the M69... come off on to the A5.. continue south on the A5 for a couple of miles and then you'll see the B4114 off to the left... Signposted Sharnford... continue through and out the other side of Sharnford... first turn left AFTER the only set of traffic lights along that stretch of road ..signposted Croft ... follow the road over the bridge... and the Heathcote arms is in front of you ;)

Just as an idea of mileage.... Llangollen is 109 miles from Croft ....

Important Information Update

Fellow GSer's,

As you will appreciate, the Italia Tour is getting closer, and as such, I need you to be aware of the important dates listed below:

Pre -trip meeting Sunday 24th Feb

LAST DATE for COMMITING to Italia 08 is Friday 7th March

Ferry / Tunnel Payments due by Friday 14th March ( £72 max)*

*note, regarding the ferry tunnel costs, we cannot be sure of the final cost and which service we will be using until after we have confirmation of exact numbers and seek a "deal". However, the worst case is the tunnel, and the max cost for the Eurotunnel will be £ 72.

If anybody wants to pay the transit cost on the 24th, that will be fine and a receipt will be given. The change will be refunded on the 14th June when we all meet.

Please ensure you are aware of the dates and have made note of them.

Many thanks in advance

See you all on Sunday 24th.

Paul

(Bryn, I suppose I could force a bacon roll down! :thumb)

I'll be at the meeting and think it would be rude not to eat some food so put me in for 2 bacon cobs and whatever is left over. Gotta build my strength for the trip. And I'll be in the bloody car cos I just discovered that the bike doesn't seem to be MOTed and I can't do it till the 27th. Darn blast and drat.
