Has anyone signed up for the Easter Belgian Rally yet?

I've had details from Migsel.

It's a back-to-basics, none catered affair back at Ronse (not sure if it's on the same site as 2008 or not?)

Cheap as chips/frites at Eu 25, Friday - Monday

Michel has translated the announcement of the Easter rally for us:

Programme: Friday: pitch your tent
Saturday: offroad ride-out
Sunday: offroad ride-out
Monday: goodbye & ride home

Campers & vans not allowed on the camp site, will have to stay on the parking lot

Location
Ruddersveld 7
9600 Ronse

Have been every year since 2007.

Ronse was the venue in 2008 and we had snow to add to the excitement. :thumb2

Normally go with jackass dave and Mark71 but neither are up for it this year as they want to spend more time with their wives.:comfort

I divorced mine 3 years ago so no problem for me. :thumb

If you are going Garry let me know as otherwise I will be Billynomates this year. :D:D:D

i've not had a reply from the e-mail address in post #1.
still not too sure how to register for the rally.
eurotunnel is coming in at £27.00 outbound and £34.00 inbound, thats travelling at 10am friday and 2pm monday for the return, not a lot of difference in price going at unsociable hours so i'm fine with these times if its ok with you richard,
i should get my tesco vouchers in a couple of days so will contact you about booking then :thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

I'm going to this with a couple of mates from work. Never been before so looking forward to it. Ferry from Hull Thursday, arrive ronse Friday. :beerjug:

Anyone know what the ride outs are like?

I have heard that there will be some road rides too.

Otherwise it will all be very basic, in the proper GS spirit :beerjug:

Judging by the Belgium mud 2 years ago if you want to do the off roading I would advise putting on proper off road tyres. The guys who tried last time on road tyres mostly had to give up. I used TKC80's and was so glad I did after doing around 200 miles off road in loads of mud.
I'm sure you'll be fine on the road rides.

Hello ,

Here you can find a link to the eastermeeting with some info and pictures of the preparations there are 2 off-roadrides and 1 roadride 200km
sorry , is in dutch http://www.bmwgsclub.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46548
The campsite is open on friday from 3pm ......and very important , a bier is 1 euro and a more stronger beer 2 euro
