Gerry's not back on his GS yet although he has had the all clear from his surgeon to resume motorcycling.
I think he's wary of the height of the saddle and the weight.
There have been offers of loans of something slightly less tall & heavy 'till he gets "back in the saddle" so to speak.

Somebody mentioned that the Log Cabin has re-opened recently after being closed sometime after 2007. Not been to check what like the service now is; it was pretty poor the last time I ventured there some years ago.
You could all stage a re-run of the Easter 2007 gathering and let the collective know if the venue is worth visting.
