A wee drop of rain will do you no harm. I'm meeting Michaelh at Dundonald. Who will be at Sprucefield? May call there on the way to Banbridge. :)

Its in Church Street Banbridge. From the A1 Down Dromore Street and Turn Right into Church Street (at the church) couple of hundred yards up the street on the right is the bike shop. :)

I'm only going up to spite him :D :D

He'll be able to sit at home tomorrow evening & look at the pics of bikes out & about :P

Aidan, well done on getting to page 6  - that'll really pish 'im off

And as Mzokk says, it's only water ;)

What a great day it was, sun shone (at times). rain did not fall and Allroad lit the way, blinding passing aircraft as usual. :D

After a Mc Muffin we headed from Mc Donald's to meet With the rest of the crew before a gentle run to Cookstown where names could be exchanged and accessories compared. :thumb

I left and headed up over the top of the Lough back to Killyleagh but took these shots in Cookstown before we left.

I hope the Southern contingent appreciated the efforts made to make them feel at home. :D

Let's make the last picture a caption competition. Just what is Allroad (darkglasses, yellow jacket) thinking? :D

good day out.

allroad just keeps delivering the goods :thumb :hapybnce:

Nice to meet you Maryjam and our southern brothers. The craic was good.See you all soon.

Twas a great day out

Despite the forecast the worst we had was the (rain) shower I met where the border used to be & the one after we left Allroad & Mrs.Allroad at the motorway.

It was great to meet a few new faces - Allroad,Badger, Irishpan, MichaelH, & Thunder (not forgetting MrsA & MrsT, but I can't really call them 'tossers' ) :beerjug:

I left Kildare about 08.00 &, after fueling up, scooted along the M/N7 / M50 & M/A1 to arrive in Aidan's place about 10.00 - just in time for the biggest fry-up I've ever eaten. Mandy obviously dished me up an 'Aidan' sized portion :D . Now I know whats meant by 'All Day' breakfast - I didn't need to eat again till that night :clap

From there Aidan, Leprechaun & myself went to Banbridge to meet Sugarcube, Allroad, Thunder, MichaelH & Mzokk.

A quick smoke, some introductions & off to Cookstown to meet Kyle, Badger & IrishPan.

Aidan, with some encouragement from Mzokk, then led us rapidly in the direction of Omagh. Now, being from the 'Free State', I have absofcukinlutely no idea what roads we took but I can tell you that I saw some of Omagh, the petrol station (for a smoke) in Lifford & some of Strabane before stopping at the Sperrin Heritage Centre for a well earned cuppa (thanks to whoever paid for that, was it Aidan :thumb )

The rest is a bit of a blur but I did take some notice of the Sperrins, especially when we stopped ;) I'd certainly like to do some more of the roads around there (hint, hint ;) )

The roads that were dry were brill while the wet, mucky ones (glad to see youse have dirty farmers & builders too ;) ) were 'interesting' on the TKC's but the road through Plumbridge & down the valley was the closest thing to a private rollercoaster ride you'll ever find :bounce1 :bounce1

I clocked up just over 650km (about 400 miles) in the twelve hours I was out & had a ball. Lets do it again soon

Thanks to Allroad for organising the run, Aidan for leading it & Mandy for me brekkie :bow :clap :bow :clap

PS: SB, we were thinking of you :dabone :D

Echoing Mrs Allroad's comments - you lot weren't nearly as intimidating as I'd feared!

Lovely to meet you, well done all those invlolved in organising, see yous again soon.

Mrs Thunder :)

Well then, nothing much more to add after all the above, except to thank Mr & Mrs Allroad for getting us all out for a great days craic & riding in pretty good weather, despite SB doing Indian rain dances somewhere in deepest darkest Co Down. :D :dabone :D

It was good to meet new Tossers (and Tosserettes :o ) and like Jockser I think that the Sperrin area is ripe for another GS raid again soon.
