Hi all.
Anyone up for a an early morning run before breakfast on Sunday 4th April?

The plan is to meet at the 24hr BP station Dromore Road in Banbridge leaving at 7:00am..............yes 7:00am

Route will be decided on the morning, dependant on numbers turning up, but I have several in mind.

We will cover approximately 100/120 miles before arriving in Newcastle for food around 9.30am

Don't let the early start put you off..........or the weather, I'm going anyway.

See you there

Hi Heff good for you to put a wee run together, but I feel the 7.00am start will put a few folk off especially for a Sunday morning :D

How about a 9.30am start :comfort

:eek::eek::eek:

I'm in Loughbrickland Heff, but 7am is way way too early for me on a Sunday morning I'm afraid. The Jim Beam wouldn't have worn off by then I doubt. :jager

Thanks for posting the invite though and enjoy your run. :thumb2

Hi Heff, Sounds good but bikes just in for 24,000 service and cant see it being back in time. Like the 7 idea, good time to miss all those Sunday drivers......lol See you next time :thumb2

Come on Guys wheres the team spirit???
Only 1 positive response so far:mad:..........surely there must be a few others to come on board. I know the recent weather hasn't helped matters but the long range forecast for Sunday is reasonable. Still time to change your mind though

TBH Heff I don't think the weather is putting folk off, as I said before it's the time. Also a few more details of the route might entice them out :thumb

Its unfortunate if its the time putting some off. early morning runs=empty roads-leave it till later, especially on a Sunday and you are up against the church goers and Sunday drivers. i have been on many early morning runs-have clocked up 100-150 miles, had a nice brekkie, returned home before lunch and still have alot of the day left for the family. Also what has happened many a time is that the morning- weather wise, has been the nicest part of the day. As to the route? dosn't matter as long as it is tarmac and i am home about lunch time:thumb
