Hi There,

Does anyone in the local area fancy or feel taking a newbie offroader out on some easy lanes on one of the coming weekends? We could make a day off it and arrange to have a few of us come along? I guess we need someone with good knowledge of the area. Just an idea I thought I’d throw out there. :thumb2

There are some really nice roads up in the Cotswolds which will be ideal for you. What tyres have you got on because TKC`s will be an advantage?

Saying that, we`ve all done them on road stuff but they can get "interesting" when wet:augie
 
I'd be happy to lead an easy ride out around North Cheltenham, if that isn't too far for you. I've done it 2 up on the GSA on tourances. Tho as Bilco says, knobblies wouldn't go amiss :thumb2

I have an easy loop which takes 2/3 hours depending on photos and playing :augie and fits in well with going to the pub afterwards :beerjug:
 
Mav, that sounds like a plan alright. which weekend could you do it? I might be free this weekend, its my anniversary with the mrs but i'm hoping shes forgot, failing that the 5th of june could be good, or even better i could take a day off work :D and do it midweek.
once we arrange it we could throw it out there for the others to join in too :D

Off road bimble

I would be up for this depending on timing - if there's a space! Only have tourances on - have just renewed the back one but will be getting Tkc's next time.
 
Have a mate coming up from Marlow on the 5th for rideout into Wales but... Depending on which bike he's bringing (and if it's the 5th) I/we would like to tag along if it fits in?

How would this Sunday morning suit everyone? I'm thinking 10am in Winchcombe, ride for 2/3 hours and be back in time to go to the pub :beer:
 
I'll be there. not sure about the pub though, as i have a 1.5 hour ride home :D
 
I can`t do this weekend unfortunately. Bit of a mixture of my eldest is 21, the girlfriend needs some love and attention and I`ll be at thruxton for the BSB on Sunday:D

We're off to a black tie do at Eastnor Castle on Saturday and I don't think the missus will appreciate us racing back on Sunday morning so I can go out for a ride.... :rolleyes:
