Easy park.

Hi

Ive just bought one of these from Amazon for my GSA LC.

As per the previous photo, the lug protrudes over the Easy Park locking arm.

I just bent it out to clear and use a piece of 12mm tubing for the extra leverage to apply the locking arm. Works a treat and wish I'd got one ages ago, all the 'oops almost dropped it doing a 15 point turn in the garage' moments are a thing of the past

I also bought one of these from Amazon a couple of weeks ago in preparation of the GSA arrival.
When it arrived I tried it out with my Triumph Tiger and promptly returned it. The seller was good and provided a free return label (although I still haven't recived my refund yet).

I found it quite unstable, impossible to actually get the bike up on its center stand and just really faffy to setup and use.
I realise this has more to do with my limitations than that of the stand .
This seems even more evident given the good reviews and the people using it quite happily here. But after a hour or so of struggling, swearing and nearly dropping the bike a few times I realised it wasn't for me and though better to return it before I marked it so bad they wouldn't except it back as a return.

In the end, for me, it is far quicker and safer to just manhadle the bike on the drive prior to backing into the garage. I expected this to be even more so with the bigger, heavier GSA. Although I do find the GSA to be really easy to manoeuvre.

So now it seems I'm left with wheeling the bike about or looking at the more expensive option of a bike lift. My only real hesitation (other than price) is the assembly of the stand and calibration of the mounting plate (I'm not very machanically minded).

This is the one I'm looking at if anyone has any experience with it, or a suggestion of a similar alternative product -

Mac,

Sorry you've had problems. Mine took a bit of getting used to and the initial positioning is critical-I put the dolly under the bike with the side stand down then offer the centre stand up to the dolly to check it's position, adjust as necessary then bring the bike upright, push the centre stand down as you would do normally, check I've got the dolly in the right place then just stand up on the centre stand while pulling on the rear rack. I'm 5'7" and 11 stone and don't have any problems getting it on the stand, though others previously use a piece of wood and have the rear wheel on that to limit the effort needed. Yesterday I managed to position the stand so that the brake arm fouled the stand and I couldn't operate the lock. to get over this I drove a bolster chisel under the front of the dolly which then acted just like the brake.

Yeah I think it's mainly my bad technique.
Your experience sounds very similar to mine. For me it was more faf than just turning the bike on the drive before putting it in the garage as I had been doing for years. The GSA is probably easier to do this than my Tiger was. Lower centre of gravity and better turning circle.
