I bought the 'ancilliary' toolkit to boost what I carry in the tool roll. However, rather stupidly, I didn't mark what was original equipment.

Could anyone help me identify OE tools either with a photo or list?

It's not a gizmo, it's a widget. Otherwise known as a 1200GS frame protection gauge (FPG). You clip the end over anywhere on the frame to test the thickness (or otherwise) of the paint. When you remove it, if it has scratched through to the bare metal, then you have the standard frame protection.

1150 owners have something similar in their toolroll but it works on the fork bridge!;)

I thought they were all plastic under the paint :confused: :hide
