Xmas Toy Run to the Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital

Please come along and support this one if you can, it's going to be even bigger than last year, it's a great thing to support and based on last year's experience it's massively appreciated by the folks who work at the Sick Kids as well as the parents and children.

At what is a very happy time of year for many of us, it's good to remember the folks who are not having it as good.....look forward to seeing you there......

Skye and I have our Santa suits ready. Just need to sort out some presents and finish decorating the bike. Kid's Xmas music sorted out for the run to the hospital :thumb

Phoned MMC last week to confirm we are coming. Please note the correct phone number is 0131 654 2777.

What are you guys actually taking in the way of presents ?

i.e. how many, what value (each), how many kids are you catering for, ratio of boys' to girls' toys, age groups catered for ?

The e-mail from Motorrad East mentions Fundraising - Is anyone collecting funds before the day ?

I know the catalogues are dropping through the letterbox, but isn't 9th November a bit early (or am I just being a humbug :rob ?), 9th December would be early enough (for me).

I'm happy to contribute - but I'm afraid I won't be there on the day.

Bob.

i gave motorrad a call the other day to ask about the run. the toy havnt to be gift wraped and has to be new, any value and you can give to anyone you want boy, girl dosnt matter. i was told that donations can be given now and there will be somone collecting donations on the day.

i was told that the young girl ther has raisd £50 for them already on her own at the open day they had. so well done to her. lets add to that!!

it will be a brill day for everyone adults and kids. to see the smiles on their faces will just make my day.

Hope the weather is better out the East, raining in Bellshill :(

Skye's looking forward to breakfast at Ikea at Straiton (easily pleased  ) before we head on down to Dalkeith for 11am.

Anyone else going to manage it?
