Geoff, in our clothing department, will have the pleasure of company from,
former Isle of Man TT winner, Ian Duffus on the day.
Ian will be on hand to offer stories of his racing experience and explain
exactly why he chose Arai to give him the confidence to ride so hard.
The 2008 Arai range is now in stock, together with helmets from Caberg and
HJC, you can be sure we've got a helmet to suit your needs.
Geoff has also fully re-stocked with the new 2008 Teknic range of leathers,
textiles, boots & gloves.
This range is strongly supported by Scoot leathers and SIDI boots.

Also appearing on the day,

Come and meet the guys who are racing for Saltire in 2008,

Torquil Paterson,
Racing his GSXR1000k7. Torquil is a seasoned veteran in Scottish
motorcycling and there's not much he doesn't know about the quickest way
round any of the UK's tracks. He's one of motorcycle racings true gentlemen
and a real character, why not take the time to here his plans for 2008.

Team Wilson racing,
From seasoned veterans we move onto the young-blood of the game. Cameron and
Stewart Wilson began racing last year and with the superb enthusiasm and
coaching of their Dad Dougie and a little help from Saltire, they quickly
made a strong impact on the motorcycling circuit. Cameron now aged 14 has
made such an impression that we at Saltire have chosen to present him with
an SV650S for the 2008 mini twins Class, we are confident that he's a name
to watch for. His little brother Stewart, aged 11 is a real live wire and
this year he's riding in the Metrakit 70
The entire Wilson team will be on hand throughout the day.

Plus,
Meet some adventure riders working for charity.

So far Nepal- Our very own clothing assistant, Marchin Filas, has just
returned from a journey taking him to the heart of the Himalaya mountains.
He's going be on hand all day to tell stories of his adventures through some
of the toughest terrain on the planet and show some of his stunning
photographs.

Enduro Africa - Father and son team, Alec and Max Williamson, are heading
off to Africa for some overland adventures. Find out more from the guys on
the day.

Ride for Marie Curie - A locally organised annual ride out for charity, this
year supporting Marie Curie Cancer, why not get involved? Find out more on
the day.

And let's not forget the fantastic culinary delights of Lee Rollos Barbeque,
the burgers and rolls will be flowing all day.

So why not take the time to help us get this biking season started, it'd be
great to see you.

Thanks again for your support and feed-back.

Looks like a full day:thumb2

If I can sneak out of unpacking I will try to pop over:thumb2

Popped in today as I have to take her indoors up to the mother in law's over the weekend :handbag.

Apparently Marcin has had a bit of an off on his bike as he was not there but I was told he will be there on Saturday.

Close - it wasn't exactly on his bike - an Aprilia Habana scooter, apparently. I believe that he was due to learn today if he's going to need surgery on his shoulder. Bloody ironic, he makes it all the way to Nepal and back with just one coming together with a Turk which he survived and then gets taken off a scooter in Edinburgh.
