editing routes in Navigator iv

[The Hobbit]

Having put a route into to mallory into it i need to edit it, so I choose
EDIT
Add Points
Junction (which I had to find on Google!!)
it then only gives me options for Speel City,PO or search all. How do I enter a road number?

BTW I have RTFM and searched on the web.
I want to be able to do this without a laptop as I dont carry it around

It's long winded, and best done with a paper map at your side for the greater overview, but I have done it at a pinch by using the on-screen map (scroll down to see this option) and then finding the relevant junction (touch the screen to define the spot) and then click the select button.
