EEEPC Netbook Restore

I've got an EEEPC that I'm sorting out for my granson to use as his first computer.

Unfortunately it needs restoring as it's full of Win and Ubuntu junk.

PROBLEM: No media drive! So I need a way of getting the thing restored with the following equipment available.

EEEPC Netbook
OEM restore disk
iMac

Any way to connect via BT/USB/WiFi?

Easiest way is an external dvd drive, loads available for about £10 on ebay or a bit more from ebuyer http://www.ebuyer.com/172850-liteon-etdu108-usb-2-0-dvd-optical-drive-retail-etdu108-01

Does the BIOS support network booting? If so, you could serve up the restore disk image that way, assuming you have some network cables lying around as well.

(I've just seen that you work in IT otherwise I'd give a bit more instruction and 'll just gloss over that that sort of thing is a lot easier to do with Linux than an iMac )
