Floyd is deserting us for a sunnier climate in Spain later in the year and he hopes to make this move permenantly. He's a top SS member and Tosser is Mike and he'll be missed at runs and events although nae doobt he'll still be postin' on here.
Anyway, I think it's only right to ha'e a celebration seein' as we're gettin' rid o' the twat. I propose to ha'e a Jägermeister Night so that Mike can buy us a' a drink. Mike disnae actually leave Auld Alba until later in the summer but wi' his work roster, GSer events and folks' holidays, I've spoken to Mike and decided that an SS overnighter in March should be suitable for a'bidy.
I've had lots of reply PMs already showin' support for this so it should be a guid ane.
Not in stone as yet but it should be in the next day or two...
The date: Saturday 14th March 2009
The venue: Atholl Arms Hotel, Blair Atholl
The cost: £50 pppn Dinner, Bed and Breakfast
I've to phone the proprietor tomorrow with a view to maybe getting an even better deal but much will depend on numbers attending. I reckon if we can guarantee between 20 and 30 bodies, we'll get a quid or two off the above price. The meals are meant to be first class (they also own the Moulin Hotel which is the bizz for grub) and the hotel itself is cracking for our needs.
Hopefully, it'll be a guid night and yous a' fancy it (if even just to make sure that we get rid o' the Doric cnut
) BTW Dinnae let the "Jägermeister Night" put you off. You can drink whit you like (honest).

Apologies to any SS Troopers who didn't get a PM aboot this. It was done aff the top o' my heid wi' a view to gauging general interest before I contacted the hotel. Please feel free to add your name to the list if yer up for a guid night oot.
