Here goes:
Elddis Compass Avantgarde CV 20
1 owner from new (me)
28000 miles
9 Speed Auto (most sought-after) - with the 2.3L 140BHP engine - super easy to drive.
The Cab has Sat Nav, Air Con, Reversing Camera, Electric Windows, Cruise Control, bluetooth for phone connection, so it really is easy to drive,.
The engine is excellent, and since I bought it I've managed good MPG,
It has an underslung LPG tank (you can see the filler behind the drivers door). The heating is powered by gas, and so is the hot water. LPG works out cheaper than buying the gas bottles, and because it's under the van, it does not take up room in the cupboards.
It has a conventional Thetford loo (as do most motorhomes), the cassette is removed from the outside for emptying.
Underneath are also two large (around 100 litres) tanks for fresh water and waste water, so you really can be self-sufficient for a few days...
It's also a lovely colour (Fiat Grigio Metallic) and not white like most vans! Here we are at the top of the Simplon Pass
During the day, it's configured for a rear lounge, and can seat 6 in the back quite comfortably, in addition the two cab "Captains seats" can swivel, so can seat 8 in comfort.
At night, you can configure the rear of the Van for 2 single beds, or one double, by rearranging the frame and cushions (takes 2 mins) (borrowed pic).
Double Bed - you sleep across - I am 6'1" and it's fine for me

(borrowed pic)
Cooking is well catered-for (pun intended). As well as the microwave, the van has 3 gas rings, and a conventional oven.
A 90-litre fridge is included which is plenty of space, it also has a freezer compartment at the top. The fridge runs off the leisure battery (charged by the engine or the solar panel)
We love opening the rear doors in good weather

The mrs likes to take a "back door shot"

This is a real benefit of the "rear lounge" configuration...
Extras include:
Microwave (this only works when on "hook-up" to a 240v supply...)
Solar panel (charges the leisure battery) so you can line "off grid" for a few days at a time (driving also charges the leisure battery)
Fiamma f80s wind-out awning - only used twice!
Towbar with integrated step - I use this for a towbar-mounted bike rack, and the step helps access straight into the back door.
Overall condition is excellent. It has never been smoked-in, and no dogs either
