as a overweight pensioner
who is short in the leg, I find that I have to pick my parking place with some care to have a least some part of one foot on the ground.
Taking the 1150 upright off the side stand requires a balletic transfer of weight to the right, with hope that the right foot will find solid ground. Some free space is needed if success is to be assured.
I found out this to my cost at a recent run when I was left stranded midway through my weight transfer by another tosser's bike that had been parked hard by mine.
As I attempted to move to a vertical position, my right pannier caught on the intimate stranger and I found myself firstly with both feet aloft and then with my right leg caught between both bikes.
Fortunately, some younger souls were passing and helped to rescue me from my invert turtle like predictament.
