Happy New Year to you all!

Following up on my previous thread here http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=321344 I am proud to announce that my website went live this morning. It's a little light in the product section but I aim to put that right with the next week or so once I get the info from the relevant vendors.

Please take a look, if I can be of any assistance don't hesitate to let me know :thumb

Bright Lights in Maidstone - CT Motorcycle Services

Just a quick bit of feedback having spent the day with Chris (CT Motorcycle Services) with him fitting a couple of Cree Hyperbrights (supplied through Bill - Fanum) and an additional rear LED to my 12GS.
This was a couple of weeks in the planning during which Chris was always available by phone and email to answer my many questions and advise along the way. Having made the final light and bracket selection these were pre-ordered by Chris and waiting for the bike to arrive (very) early on Saturday morning.
Mine's a new bike and still very much the 'pride and joy', I'm cautious about others working on it and especially so when, honestly, I wouldn't know where to start with the electrics. Chris was fully prepared - patient and clear in his explanations and methodical and thorough throughout the fit - even as his fingers were turning blue towards the end of the day!
In addition to the lights I also had a fuse box fitted (neatly below the tool tray) allowing for the simple addition of two further electrical add-ons as and when required. This is a great addition and, again, the benefits of this were patiently and carefully explained by Chris.
End result - FANTASTIC - a super bright front and rear end, an extra bit of electrickery under the seat and a great sense of confidence that this was a job carefully and expertly done.
Thanks Chris - CT Motorcycle Services highly recommended.

Thanks you for your comments Nick, I'm pleased you're happy with the work.
It was a pretty marginal day weather wise eh! We got there though because we're rufty tufty southerners :thumb

Here's a couple of images the that I took on the day

Auxiliary rear light fitted

10w Cree LED's in action

I've spent a bit of time on my own bike today so I thought I'd post up a few pics.

We now have 10w Cree LED Spots fitted (Sourced via Bill Fanum) and 50w HID on the dipped beam (Sourced via LES Wassall)

The quality of Les's kits needs no introduction, superb as ever and an excellent addition.

The 10w Cree LED's are an absolutely lovely bit of kit. Cast alloy bodies, stainless mounting and fixing hardware and beautiful quality cabling and weatherproof plug'd fly leads. They are a pleasure to fit and very bright!

LED Spots

50w HID burning bright

Both together ...... Night into day!

I think I'm going to get my gear on and go for a ride!!

I've just had this PM from a customer (and forum member) and have been asked to post it up. I'm pleased he's happy with my work and felt the urge to write this testimonial.

Cheers fella :thumb2

Just to say a big thanks to Chris (TunnerUK) for being so helpful and making a special trip to London to help me out. After numerous attempts and many flashing indicators, a burned relay and frustration enough to drive an elephant to tears, I called Chris. He answered immediately even though he was about to go to the cinema (maybe my conversation intrigued him more than film he was destined to see  )Anyhow, after a brief chat Chris agreed to make a long trip to London. He arrived on time, worked from the start and didn’t once ask to borrow a tool. A well prepared, enthusiastic and knowledgeable visit. Even when it got dark he carried on, just erecting his portable light on the sidewalk and using his Jeep for power. A neat and well finished job. I would certainly ring him again next time before I try a Macgyver move. At all times I felt Chris knew what I wanted him to achieve and went about his business in the most efficient and reliable way to get the job done. All costs were clearly explained and reasonable. I had made a rather amateurish start on installing some extra lights, a fuse block, switch and auxiliary power. My job worked, just and it was hugely untidy. Now I feel much safer now knowing that it is all correct, safe and made to last. I will also be able to ask BMW to fix any other errors I have and know that it is not my fault that it is playing up!

Thank you Chris

Big thanks

I just wanted to say a big thanks to Chris (Tunneruk) of this parish, trading as CT Motorcylce Services.

He turned up at my place of work and fitted a new Odyssey battery and HID kit.

He was extremely professional, generous with his knowledge, and did an excellent job at a very reasonable price! :thumb2 What more could you want :clap

He drinks cold tea though, strange chap :augie

Would thoroughly recommend his services and I'm sure I'll be using his expertise again in the future.

ATB

Kim
